Phillies Invite 10 to Spring Training
The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that they have invited 10 players to Major League Spring Training camp as non-roster invitees.
The players that the Phillies invited to camp are:
Right handed pitchers Blaine Neal, Dave Borkowski, Justin Lehr and Mike Koplove.
Infielders Mike Cervenak, Andy Tracy, and Terry Tiffee.
Outfielders Chris Walker, Ozzie Chavez, and J.J. Furmaniak.
Both Cervenak and Tracy appeared in games with the Phillies in September after their callups.
Aside from the non-roster invitations to Spring Training, the Phillies also signed a handful of Minor League free agents on Wednesday.
Those free agents are pitchers Yoel Hernandez, Yorman Bazardo, Justin Pope, Jason Mackintosh, and Joshua Shortslef; infielders Brian Stavisky; and outfielders Casey Craig, Kevin Mahar, Wilkin Ruan, Mike Spidale and Rich Thompson.
